Course accreditations
You’ll graduate with a degree accredited by three industry-recognised bodies – the National Council for Training of Journalists (NCTJ), the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) and the Professional Publisher’s Association.Ìý
- National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) accreditation is very prominent on the course and you'll study towards the Level 5 NCTJ Diploma in Journalism during yourÌýthree years at BU. You'll have the opportunity to gain this important industry qualification and graduate with the Gold standard (A-C) or standard diploma. Gaining this important industry qualificationÌýwill increase employability and ensure you are ready for a fast-paced newsroom. The tuition and first sit exam fees are included in university fees.Ìý
