SportBU: Simon Webster

Greetings, my name is Simon Webster and I am a Personal Trainer at SportBU.

I have been in the health and fitness industry for 13 years and have experienced most aspects of the industry by teaching at a group level to management role. I find that the industry itself is ever-changing and with that sometimes we have to accept the things we once thought we knew or were taught may now not be the best methods to apply to our how we work with clients.

Over the years I have seen a lot of trainers (myself included at one time) preach they have a passion for fitness. It took a while for me to realise that I don’t have a passion for fitness but a desire to help and educate clients in the best way possible for them to achieve their goals.

At 18 I was overweight and what I thought would help me turned out not to be correct. From my personal experience and years in the industry, I consider myself as someone who can help you achieve your goals.

Client feedback:

After being a client of Simon’s for three months, I would definitely recommend him for your personal training needs. He strikes a great balance between support, encouragement and understanding; along with sound advice and a good sense of humour! He's not a shouty Sargent Major, which is good thing from my perspective. - ±õ.Ìýµþ³Ü°ù²µ±ð°ù

The best trainer I’ve had... so far, as I’ve had a few over the years. Always has new and varied exercises each lesson so it never gets boring. Professional and gets the job done. - °.Ìý°±ð²¹³Ù¾±²Ô²µ

Been using Simon for sports massage recently, getting amazing results, massive difference in recovery times and range of motion in knackered old muscles and joints; Simon’s PT experience makes him very knowledgeable when it comes to understanding what’s going to hurt and be damaged as a result of specific sporting activities. - D.
